Our own cookies
Build an Ant Empire Wiki does not set its own tracking or advertising cookies. The only thing the site itself stores is your theme choice, kept in local storage on your device. It is never sent to us. The calculators and search box do not store anything.

Advertising cookies
We use Google AdSense to show ads. The ad script loads only after your first interaction with a page (a click, tap, scroll, mouse movement or key press). Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, personalised-ad cookies are only used after you agree to them in the consent message; if you do not agree, Google can still show non-personalised ads, which use cookies only for things like frequency capping, fraud prevention and measurement.
How to control cookies
- Consent message: where one is shown, you can accept or refuse advertising cookies and change your choice later from the privacy settings link it provides.
- Personalised ads: turn them off in Google Ads Settings, or opt out of participating companies at www.aboutads.info/choices and www.youronlinechoices.eu.
- Your browser: every major browser lets you block third-party cookies, delete cookies and local storage, or browse privately. Every page and calculator on this site works without cookies; blocking them only affects ads and embedded videos.
- Embedded videos: videos load in YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode and set no cookies until you press play. You can instead open any video on YouTube with the link shown next to it.
