This page explains how we decide what goes on Build an Ant Empire Wiki, how we check it and what we will not publish. It applies to every page: the ant database, data pages, guides, blog posts, calculators and FAQs.
1. Sources
Every game fact on the site must come from one of these sources:
- Gameplay footage. 11 reference videos, from a brand-new account to a maxed colony, watched in full. Data pages link each fact to the exact second it appears, so you can check it yourself on the videos page.
- In-game screenshots captured for the wiki.
- Official Roblox listings for the game — its Roblox page, its published Robux products and the developer's event announcements — with the date we read them.
- Codes are listed as working only when we have seen them work or at least two independent sources report them.
We do not copy other wikis. When another site reports something we cannot confirm, we leave it out until we can.
2. What we will not guess
- Roll odds, drop rates and hidden formulas the game does not show are never published as facts.
- Names or rarities that were not clearly visible are labelled Unconfirmed until a clear screenshot exists.
- When sources disagree — for example on a bonus percentage or an ant's rarity — we show both values and say so.
- Calculators state their assumptions and say when a result is an estimate.
3. FAQs and guides
FAQ questions come from what players actually ask: Google search suggestions and "People also ask" results, questions asked on other Build an Ant Empire sites, and questions players ask out loud in gameplay videos. We do not invent questions to fill space. Answers have to solve the problem — explaining how something works, with the numbers we have — not just restate the question. Guides are written from recorded play and list the moments they are based on.
4. Opinions
Tier lists, "worth it" verdicts and recommendations are opinions based on the recorded numbers and on how each ant or item performs in the game. They are labelled as verdicts so they are not confused with data. You may reasonably rank things differently.
5. Independence and advertising
- The site may show ads from Google AdSense. Advertisers have no say over what we write, rank or recommend.
- Ads are visually separate from content and are never presented as guides, recommendations or download buttons.
- We do not accept payment for rankings, reviews or coverage, and we do not use affiliate links.
- We are not paid by, and have no relationship with, Roblox Corporation or Insect Kingdom studio.
6. Content we never publish or link to
- Exploits, scripts, executors, auto-farm tools or anything else that breaks the Roblox Terms of Use.
- "Free Robux" generators, account selling or trading, and any page that asks for login details.
- Leaked or datamined content presented as confirmed before the developer releases it.
- Content that is hateful, sexual, violent or otherwise unsuitable for the young audience of a Roblox game.
- Personal information about players.
When people search for things like "Build an Ant Empire script", we answer the question honestly — explaining the risks and the legitimate in-game alternatives — without providing the content itself.
7. Images and videos
Screenshots are used to identify ants, items and characters and to illustrate how the game works. They are cropped and compressed for the web and remain the property of their owners. Videos are credited to their creators and linked at the moment we used. Owners can ask for changes or removal through the contact page.
8. Corrections and updates
Mistakes are fixed as soon as they are confirmed. Significant changes — new ants, events, codes and data corrections — are listed on the updates page with the date. Each data page shows when the data was last checked (2026-10-09 for the current data set). Send corrections to contact@buildanantempire.app.
