Ant Empire Wiki

Build An Ant Empire Combat System

Combat happens in dungeons and the Starfall boss fight. There are no weapons or stats to manage — your colony is your army.

How does combat work?

Combat happens in dungeons and the Starfall boss fight. You do not control the ants: every ant you own attacks automatically, so a stronger colony does more damage. Your only input is clicking to fill the attack bar and picking up time bonuses.

How a fight works

  1. Every ant you own fights automatically — a stronger colony means more damage.
  2. Click during the fight to fill the attack bar; it boosts attack speed up to 4× and drains back down.
  3. Pick up the +15 seconds items that drop to extend the timer.
  4. Each round adds more boss HP. Exit (top right) when you stop making progress — rewards are kept.
  5. Dungeon runs pay Pet Coins and can drop pet eggs.

Dungeons and the Starfall fight

There are two kinds of fights. Dungeons open on a timer around the map (King of Spider, King of Snail, King of Ladybug and the Mantis) and pay Pet Coins and pet eggs. The Starfall boss opens for the whole server once 30 Event Stars are placed at the central altar, and pays Star Coins. Both play the same way.

What decides the outcome

Your whole colony is your army: every ant you own runs in and attacks automatically, so the same things that raise your income — more ants, higher rarities, levels — also raise your damage. Bring as many ants as possible, because they all help.

Your only direct input is clicking. Each click adds to an attack bar on the right side of the screen; when it is full your attack speed is boosted up to 4×, and it drains back down if you stop. A good rhythm is to fill the bar, let it drain, and fill it again.

Boss HP grows every round. Numbers include about 10K in round 2 of an early Starfall fight, 15M and then 75M HP for a mid-game colony, and 97M HP for King of Snail. A timer counts down the whole time; +15 seconds pickups drop during the fight and extend it.

Rewards and exiting

You keep everything earned so far whenever you leave, so the exit button in the top right is your friend. Exit once a round becomes too slow — a first Starfall often ends around round 8, a mid-game one around round 17, and a maxed colony reaches the cap at round 30 for about 140 Star Coins.

Combat and your economy

Fights cost nothing to join, and you keep whatever you earned when you leave. That makes dungeons and Starfall worth joining whenever the banner appears, even if you only clear a few rounds.

Pet Coins from dungeons buy pet eggs at the Pet Exchange (40 coins for a Snail Egg up to 800 for a Ladybug Egg), and the Double Pet Coins game pass doubles them. Pets are some of the biggest multipliers in the game — the Ladybug alone can add 50–60% food value — so the combat rewards feed straight back into your income.
