Ant Empire Wiki

Build An Ant Empire Progression System

Your colony grows on four axes: more slots, better ants, stronger upgrades and multipliers (mutations, pets, skins, passes).

How does progression work?

Progress comes from the upgrade board next to the Ant Queen: more floors and slots, better luck and more eggs per roll, faster ants, more food per trip and new egg tiers. Every upgrade is permanent — there is no rebirth — and they all eventually max out.

The upgrade board

Upgrade Egg Luck

Raises the luck multiplier on every roll, pushing eggs toward higher rarities.

  • Luck reaches 40×–100× in the late game
  • The Ant Queen's look changes as luck goes up
  • Luck is the main lever once rolls are maxed
  • Upgrades eventually max out — luck, speed and floors all show MAX in the endgame

Upgrade Egg Rolls

How many eggs the Queen lays per roll.

  • Maxes out at 6 eggs per roll
  • An extra roll can also be bought for about 40 Robux early on

Ant Speed

Global walking speed for every worker — more trips per minute.

  • Stacks with Speed Jelly
  • Cheap early; strong once your best ants carry billions per trip

Food Gain Multiplier

Increases how much food every ant brings back per trip.

  • Shown as a percentage (e.g. +420%); the first step adds +20% for about $500
  • The most common recommendation for where spare cash goes

Expand Ant Nest

Adds a floor to the nest with more ant slots. Each slot must then be unlocked with cash.

  • Floor costs seen: $50 → $800 → $100K → $2M → $150M → $1.8B → $54B
  • The nest maxes out at the $50T floor, seen in two runs

Upgrade Ant Queen

Unlocks better egg tiers: Mythic → Exotic → Secret → Divine → OP Celestial.

  • Mythic Egg unlock at about $26K (around luck level 5)
  • Exotic Egg unlock around luck level 16
  • Divine Egg unlock seen at $2T
  • OP Celestial Egg unlock seen at $30Qa (or about 100 Robux)

Slot unlock costs seen

Each new floor adds slots that must be unlocked one by one. Prices climb steeply:

$50$100$500$1K$2K$10K$25K$40K$4M$5M$350B$1T$5T$100T$600T

Ant levels

Each placed ant can be levelled from its slot. Early levels cost a few dollars; on Legendary ants a single level can cost hundreds of thousands. The usual approach is to take new ants to around level 10–20, focus on your top five or so, and stop when a level costs more than a few minutes of income.

Index

  • The Index lists every ant as a silhouette until you buy one.
  • Completing all ants of a rarity gives a permanent sell bonus.
  • Discovery milestones also hand out cash, jellies and mutation potions (Leaf, Bubblegum).
  • There is a separate Mutation Index that shows each mutation's multiplier.
  • Unwanted ants can be thrown in the trash or fed to the Resource Converter (unlocks for $100K) for jellies and potions.

A typical progression path

  • Minutes 0–15: tutorial, first Common Ants at $45, first floors ($50, $800), Golden and Venom Ants, first levels.
  • First hour: $100K floor, rares (Big Head $20K, Wheel $40K), Mythic Egg unlock (about $26K), first epics.
  • Millions: Muscle, Pumpkin and Football Ants, Leaf ants from the Vine, Candy potions from the Strawberry King, first legendaries.
  • Billions: mythics (about $700M+), Exotic Egg, first dungeons and pets, tree skins such as the $48B Popcorn Bucket.
  • Trillions: exotics (about $60B–$600B), Secret Egg, first Secret (about $29T), Divine Egg ($2T).
  • Quadrillions and up: divines, OP Celestial Egg ($30Qa), Petal and Starlight potions, Starwing Ant from Starfall, a fully maxed nest.

How long it takes

$1 trillion is reachable after about an hour of free play. Affording the Starwing Ant and reaching 77Qa per second takes closer to a day of AFK time, and a full run to the Secret tier can take about ten hours. Robux shortcuts compress the early stages a lot — two Ant Packs on a fresh account mean Void Ants and a million dollars within minutes — but the late game still comes down to Egg Luck and patience.

Is there a rebirth?

There is no rebirth option. Progress is permanent: floors, slots, upgrades, ants and the Index all stay. The nest eventually maxes out at the $50T floor, and it gets surprisingly tall before then.

Ant levels

Every placed ant can be levelled from its slot. Early levels are almost free, and level 10 was described as about a 30% boost. Higher rarities cost far more per level — a single Legendary upgrade can cost $625K — so level new ants to around 10–20, focus on your top five or so, and stop once a level costs more than a few minutes of income.
